How do I upgrade from Version 2.1 to 2.5? |

If
you have purchased a copy of SWF Scanner v2.1 and want to upgrade
to v2.5 all you have to do is hit the register button and fill
in the same serial number information you got when your purchased

How do I extract a image? |

SWF
Scanner can extract images in SWF files encoded in the following
tag types
DefineBits
DefineBitsJPEG2
DefineBitsJPEG3
DefineBitsLossless 8 bit, and 32 bit
DefineBitsLossless2 8 bit, and 32 bit
To extract an Image from an Open SWF file, Select the image
from the tree control and double click it this will open the
image and display it. Click the Extract Object button {bmc
button_extract.bmp} from the tool bar And a valid Save Path,
the file will be saved in .jpg format.

To extract an Sound from an Open SWF file, Select the Sound
from the tree control and double click it This will open the
Sound and display it. Click the Extract Object button {bmc button_extract.bmp}

in the required format (.mp3 or .wav). |

How do I update an image? |

Replacing
An Image With SWF Scanner
Any Image can be 'Replaced' in an SWF file. Select the image
from the tree control and open it for viewing. Then click the
replace button {bmc button_replace.bmp} from the tool bar. Then
choose an Image from your hard drive to use in the replacement.
Support formats : (.jpg .bmp .tif .tga .pcx .png)
*IMPORTANT This action cannot be undone,
it is recommend that you only perform image replacements on
copies of the original.
Also Remember that the image you use to replace should be very
close to the same size as the original. |

How do I extract all objects at once? |

Extracting
All Supported Objects in SWF Scanner
Click the Extract All Button From the Tool Bar, this will display
a dialog. You can choose to extract only sounds, images or actions,
or all of them. Select the directory that the objects will be
copied into. An extraction report will be shown displaying the
results of the extraction, a copy will be placed into the extraction
directory selected. each Movie objects will have it's own directory
for it's relative objects. This will help in reconstructing
the SWF file if needed. |

sound is encoded in ADPCM, which is not support in version 2.5,
but will supported in future versions. |

SWF
scanner is not designed to modify action script. it is a scanner
designed to help you recover action script from swf movies and
copy them into new movie projects. This feature is not planned
for future version of swf scanner as it is not part of it's
goal. |
